Al Bright abbiamo fatto visita allo stand di asics, che ha portato qualche nuovo modello parte della sua prossima collezione Spring/Summer 2011. In questo post uno sguardo a 4 nuovi makeup delle Procourt, stile basket vintage ann’80 riproposto con tomaie in pelle e suede in diverse varianti colore classiche.

Dahon Mu Uno Folding Bike

The first folding bikes ever date back to WWII when British paratroopers required compact, folding bicycles for parachute jumps from aircraft. While folding bikes used to be more novelty than anything for city use, Dahon – who incidentally put out one of the first commercially successful folding bikes in the early 80′s – has been sticking it out and maintaing relevance for the past 25 odd years. The Mu Uno from Dahon is small enough to fit in a closet and light (22 lbs.) and compact enough to carry up stairs or onto public transit. Sticking to the basics, there are no gears, and simple back pedal brakes are all you need to stop. Available here.

Lo StudioFludd ha sede a Padova ed è formato da un vero e proprio frizzante gruppo artistico – i Fludders – che sono: Caterina, Clara, Matteo, Sara e Valeria. Tutti accomunati dalla passione per le arti visive, ognuno ha una specifica predilezione e interesse verso un preciso campo, quali ad esempio, l’illustrazione, il design, l’animazione o la moda (messa così sembra una squadra di supereroi).

Cosa fanno? Creano e progettano biglietti, poster, gioielli, libretti e quant’altro (il loro sito è pieno di mille esempi); fanno feste e intervistano altri creativi (qui ad esempio l’interview dell’ormai ultranota Giulia Sagramola).

Sono su flickr e su facebook, ma è soprattutto guardando su etsy che vi farete un’idea dei loro lavori e di cosa si possa realizzare con materiali comuni e tendenzialmente poveri.

In ordine sparso, trovate i disegni anatomici di Caterina, le spille e gli orecchini colorati realizzati con carta plastificata e perline, i libretti interattivi con le illustrazioni di Caterina e Sara, le collane (trasformabile e non) in plastica di Valeria, carta da lettera basic e verities.

Il Veneto avanza.
