1. The project
This spring we launched a new SportStyle collection packed with 80s influences. To raise awareness of the collection we decided to try something new. We created something special for ten handpicked bloggers - ten unique 80s inspired objects.
But we didn’t just send the bloggers the objects. What they received was one half of one object, and one half of another object. Now it is up to them to find out who got what, and then trade the halves to make them whole again.
2. The objects
In the making of the objects we collaborated with the design and research company Freedom Of Creation., to create the ten pieces which were produced using Rapid Manufacturing.
3. The blog
This blog is an attempt to automatically track what is being said about the project. It’s powered by Wordpress using a customized theme that automatically posts content by looking at keywords in ten specified RSS-feeds and by using Technoratis API to search for keywords. Designed by Amsterdam Worldwide and implemented by Alfred Hallmert.
