DS3 Street Mapper

WEEKDAY Opening

Recently, Weekday opened their 2nd flagship store here in Germany. I was fortunate enough to be at the opening in Cologne and honestly up till then Weekday wasn’t really on my radar. The more I was impressed by not only the collection, but also by the sympathy and history behind the brand.

The opening was super packed. Even the rain couldn’t stop people from lining up…

And the lady that definitely made my night: The beautiful Elinor from Weekday.

And of course the irresistable Madame Hoch as well:

The overall look of course is very Scandinavian (think skinny Jeans, oversized T-shirts, Rock’n Roll etc.). The shop is huge and best part of it are the selected vintage pieces throughout the whole store. Military jackets, bomber jackets, Starter Jackets, Vintage Levi’s jeans…. you name it. Amazing.

Penfield x BBB vest!

We got together with Penfield to create this nice & timeless vest: related to the overall BBB campaign THE ORIGINAL, we decided to use leather and denim. The basics. That’s how it all started.

The overall base is denim, we added some brown leather patches and finished it with a nice hickory lining. Easy like that.

No outside branding. Just a sublte leather patch on the inside combining both the Penfield x BBB logo.

They’re limited to 61 pieces worldwide. Why 61? Because 61 used to be the old area code of Berlin-Tempelhof where the BBB show is located.

Big Thanks and mich love to Jamie, Jag and Ben from Penfield who made this whole project possible!

They won’t be for sale, but given away to close family&friends. If you’re one of the few lucky ones to get a hold of the vest, send me a pic rocking it!!

BBB 1st Floor

BBB 1st Floor - for the Winter show we proudly present you a new intimate platform within the Sport&Street area called BBB 1st Floor.

This small area will be a mix of upcoming brands and rising artists from various fields. In the best case this potpourri of fashion and art will reflect today’s metropolitan street scene with a few of its facets.

There will be no pre-built stands, no restricitions in terms of height and stand decoration. Back to basics. Less is more. Improvise. Do-it-yourself. Or don’t. Whatever you want.

Brands like Wood Wood, HOON, Libertine-Libertine, AIAIAI, CAMO etc. will show their latest collections and Berlin’s own, the aclaimed artists Nomad and Zasd will leave their fingerprints on all the rooms in the 1st floor!

Another nice add-on will be the Urban Gallery Store from the fabulous UNDPLUS boys where art pieces from artist such as Paul Snowden, Alex Flach, StudioAnti, Nomad, Peter Lorenz, MyMo, R.K.D.U., NewSkoolDisplayTM, Marok and many more can be purchased at let’s say reasonable prices.
